Granite State Records

The Granite State Chapter established a tablet commemorating the recipients of the Patrick Henry Medallion. Created and donated, on May 31, 2006, by the Chapter Commander, COL Jack Akin, it will be placed in the New London, NH Town Hall for proper display and maintenance, and has sufficient blank plaques for the addition of 18 future recipients by the Chapter. Several of the town's local citizens have received this award for demonstrated patriotism to the United States of America.

Phil transferred in from the Hq. Chapter, as a result of a visit to the VA Home in Tilton, NH. by Companion John Hargreaves. Phil is resident Chaplain there, has a good handle on Computer desk top publishing, and we hope to visit him soon for an official induction into the chapter. Welcome, Phil.

Reeve Lindbergh met with 65 persons, members and guests, at the Lake Sunapee Country Club in New London, NH to present and charming, humorous history lesson of the Twentieth Century, including her life with Charles A. Lindbergh, born in1902 and her mother, Anne Morrow Lindbergh, who died in 2001. She then autographed novels and childrens' books for guests.

Our chapter enjoyed its finest meeting ever. The following photo depicts its culmination:
